Sun Sensitive Paper

  • reacts to sunlight by changing colour
  • arrange items on paper - use flowers, keys, leaves, coins etc
  • leave in sunshine for a few minutes
  • when you see the paper changing from white to blue colour, remove items
  • take indoors to wash paper in tap water for 2 minutes
  • leave to dry
  • the shapes of the items remains as a permanent image on the paper
  • if using light weight items, it's best to place them under a sheet of acetate to ensure they don't move during exposure
