Sun Sensitive Paper
- reacts to sunlight by changing colour
- arrange items on paper - use flowers, keys, leaves, coins etc
- leave in sunshine for a few minutes
- when you see the paper changing from white to blue colour, remove items
- take indoors to wash paper in tap water for 2 minutes
- leave to dry
- the shapes of the items remains as a permanent image on the paper
- if using light weight items, it's best to place them under a sheet of acetate to ensure they don't move during exposure
- another option is to write or draw with permanent black marker directly onto the acetate sheet and place over the sun sensitive paper in sunshine for the same effect
- great for art and science activities
