Painting under glass

GLASS STONES

  • This activity was a project at one of last year's School Club workshops from one of the Book Week activity books.
  • Trace the exact shape of the glass stone onto watercolour paper
  • Cut out the circle - they are each a different size and slightly irregular
  • Draw a design onto the watercolour paper using permanent marker
  • Paint the design using fluorescent or brightly coloured paint
  • Using special Art Potch glue that dries totally clear, glue the painted side to the flat underside of the glass stone
  • Presented in a small organza, bag - it's precious!
